TERMS AND CONDITIONS
AGE
All drivers must be 26 or over and under 80 years and be in possession of a full driving licence. There is no charge for 2nd driver on the car, you must let us know the name of 2nd driver when hiring the car.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
You must provide at time of hire:
- A full driving
- A current
PAYMENT
You must pay the rent a car balance in full, you have the option to pay in cash or with a credit/ debit card. Please note in addition to the hire charge we ask for 500 Euro as a security deposit, this is refundable when car is returned and checked. Instead of this you have the option to pay our insurance wavier charge, if you would prefer to do so prices will be offered at point of hire.
INSURANCE WAVIER CHARGE
You have the option of using our insurance excess wavier - per hire period. Rates will be given to you when you hire the car.
The wavier reduces your excess liability to ZERO in event of an accident whether it's the renters fault or the fault of any other drivers.
- The wavier does not cover loss of keys, loss or damage to radio equipment or incorrect fuel being deposited in the vehicle.
Please check what fuel the vehicle uses before leaving our office.
TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS
Any traffic violations or parking offences or fines for breach of any Spanish traffic law will be paid in full by the hirer plus an additional 20 Euro for our administration fee.
ALCOHOL AND DRUGS
The hirer is fully responsible for the full value of the vehicle and its contents, if it is found that the driver is involved in ANY incident or accident whilst under the influence of ALCOHOL or DRUGS. BREAKDOWN
In the event of a breakdown please first telephone our office number on 0034-966730540, or you can call our mobile 0034-686860589 or send a text message to the number. Insurance details are kept in the glove box of the vehicle, you may need the insurance document when calling for assistance. Outside of these hours you can call the emergency breakdown number which is 900 120 123 or you can call 0034 918074256. 24 hours a day.
ACCIDENT
In the event of an accident involving another vehicle you must notify us immediately on our office number on 0034-966730540, or you can call our mobile 0034-686860589 or send a text message to the number. You must take full details of all parties involved and complete the accident form which will be in the glove box. (without completion of this form a claim cannot be made).
DO NOT admit or accept any responsibility unless you are 100% sure and understand everything
you are signing.
DO NOT abandon the vehicle, inform the police immediately of the accident and details. Emergency services I.E. Police, Fire, Ambulance can be contacted on the emergency telephone number: 112
DRIVING RESTRICTIONS
The vehicle under no circumstances cannot be taken out of mainland Spain.
Our breakdown recovery service is up to 100km from our office. Recovery beyond this distance may incur a fee.
HIRERS AGREEMENT (when signing this form you agree to these terms and conditions)
- Any damage to wheels or tyres due to misuse will be charged to the
- DO NOT REMOVE official documents from the glove box of the car to do so will incur an extra charge.
- DO NOT REMOVE the warning triangle, the high visibility jackets, the spare wheel, tool kit or first aid kit from the vehicle, to do so will incur an extra
- If the vehicle is not returned in a reasonable condition, as it was collected the hirer will be charged for a full clean/valet up to an amount of 50
- Loss of car key is charged at a rate of 100 - This is not covered under the excess wavier.
- Depositing of incorrect fuel in the vehicle will be charged at a rate of 250 Euros - This is not covered by the excess wavier.
USE OF THE VEHICLE
The vehicle is the sole responsibility of the hirer throughout the hire period.
- It is not permitted to transport goods or to tow any other vehicles at
- It is not permitted to use the vehicle in a race with any other vehicles or in any challenges on or off road.
- It is not permitted to use the vehicle to transport more passengers than is
- It is not permitted to use the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, illegal or otherwise that may impair the driver's ability to drive the vehicle in a safe and proper
LATE RETURNS
Should you return the car later than agreed time there will be a 10 euro per hour charge. Please make sure You are fully aware of the time the vehicle must be returned.
